Which veil should i pair with my dress?

Ashley, on May 19, 2024 at 1:35 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Hi my loves, I am getting married in November at an outdoor venue and I really want to go for a dramatic, princess, classy look. I’m just having some trouble trying to figure out what accessories I should pair this dress with. My dress will be ready in July but I’d like to try on some accessories with the sample dress before it comes in. Also, I have keloid scars on my back and I took a bold step and bought the dress I felt most beautiful in. However, the dress completely exposes my scars. Any suggestions on if I should conceal them or not. I keep having mixed feelings. 🫠Which veil should i pair with my dress? 1

Indeed you found a beautiful dress and look quite happy.

It seems like you could be comfortable with perhaps a veil. One that starts from the back of your head and flares out may be an option. You maybe can use make up to blend colors. The unusual option would be to make the scars as purple flowers and wear a flower crown.

Also, if you see the Lilly dress discussion, the bride was considering adding that style straps to a strapless dress. Those straps would be purely decorative so probably could be easily added.

Another idea is maybe get a dense lace style or shadow stripe veil if that makes you feel more comfortable --- something that varies in sheerness. It looks like a Catholic veil or Mantilla could be worn. There should be some styles like that.
