White Boots: To do or Not to do?

Michelle, on October 20, 2019 at 12:00 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 33
Ladies I have absolutely no idea what type of shoe to wear...I'm changing dresses for the reception and I really want to wear some boots lol! My second dress is more on the causal side so I figured a nice boot would go well with it. Maybeeeee I'm completely wrong and going through a phase but I can't help to fall in love with these booties. Our main color is emerald green so I plan to have emerald green oversized earrings and thought maybe an emerald green colored shoe or sandal. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Am I going in the wrong direction with my choice of shoe? Should I stick to a regular heel? Or can I get away with the right boot? Check out my favs...What are your thoughts? 😊

Side note: I prefer to wear heels or a heeled boot...I dance better in them lol! Also when I look at the boots next to the dress I'm like oh noooooo 😂 but I'm still hopeful!

The boots are nice, but I absolutely love the last 3 pairs and think they would be amazing with the dress.

Love the idea of emerald green strappy heels!! They would look great and go so we'll with your earrings and overall color scheme. But it's your wedding, do whatever you want 😁 I'm totally digging the first pair of booties, they're so fun and unique.

I love those boots! But personally don’t think would be that nice compared to the last ones. But it’s your wedding and if you really want it go for it! It’s your day!

That dress is very pretty. But with either of those boots?? Ouuuu weeee 😬😬😬.... I wouldn’t!!!

That will completely disrupt the entire look and sexiness of that dress. I also think white shoes are difficult overall, and too often look frumpy. However, those second to last shoes with the metallic straps and green acrylic heel are HOT🔥. They add a perfect pop of emerald and still keep the entire look and style, classy and pulled together.

(if you don’t mind, can you please share who makes those shoes and the style name? I really like them)😃

I knowww the white shoe thing is real lol, that's why I thought a boot might look better lol...those shoes are by Gianvito Rossi but I'm not sure of the exact style name.

Lol!!!! Girl... I figured that you knew about the “white shoe thing” 😂 🤣. But I like your effort!!!🏆🥇

Seriously, if you really love them, order a pair or two and put it with your dress to see it from head to toe. If it ends up being a 👎🏽... then it can be returned.

The boots are cute, I'd go with that if you want! I wore black cowboy boots to our wedding ceremony and was super comfy.
