White dress for engagement pics?

Do you think that a white dress should be worn for engagement pics? Or does it even matter? My fiancé and I are getting engagement pics done at the end of January but it’s never too soon to start planning ahead in my opinion lol. Just wondering other brides opinions!😊

    I wore a white dress for my engagement photos. It was in June though.

    I feel like you get to make the rules. I wore a white top but it was very casual. I've seen folks in red formal dresses and that looked beautiful so I think it is entirely up to you.

    I don't think it matters, but I think a white dress would be appropriate if that's what you would like to do.

    I definitely think it's up to you. Wear whatever makes you happy. Make your own rules! I did wear a white dress for our engagement photos. We really enjoy our engagement photo shoot. Have fun!White dress for engagement pics? 1

    I'm doing a long white cocktail dress (it doesn't look like a wedding dress) for our "formal" engagement pics. We are also having two other outfit changes. I love the idea of wearing white for the pics!

    It definitely doesn't matter. White is a cute nod to the traditional wedding attire, but it's whatever you'd like. I'm wearing champagne Smiley smile

    I chose to wear a LWD as one of my two engagement photo outfits! We didn't have an engagement party, my bachelorette is on the beach, and I'm not sure anyone's throwing me a bridal shower, so I wanted to wear it at least once! I wore my fave navy maxi dress for my other "casual" option Smiley smile

    I did not wear white. I went with a blush pink dress because it’s a main color in my wedding color scheme!
