White Dresses for Wedding Events

I had my bridal shower this past weekend and wore blush pink because i couldn’t find white ANYWHERE. my suggestion is shop online if possible, only reason i didn’t was because i procrastinated until the week before the shower 🥲 i found a lot of cute stuff online at dillards, lulus, nordstrom, ASOS, boohoo

If you don't want to wear a white dress to these events, please do not feel pressured to! Wear what makes you feel good!

For our wedding shower, I wore a blue and white dress from my closet, for my bachelorette, it was costume time, and I was all in purple, for our joint bachelor, it was a baseball game, so I wore our team colors, and for our rehearsal dinner, I wore a silver and pink dress from my closet.

Remember, so many of these "traditions" are just marketing schemes to make you buy things!

I bought my bridal shower dress at Macy's and I actually bought my rehearsal dinner dress on Poshmark! Tons of brides buy expensive white lacy dresses for these events only to never wear them again, and subsequently list them on Poshmark.

Literally anywhere! Amazon, google 'white bridal party dresses'.

Baltic Born Clothing is a great site that has gorgeous dresses!

You also don't have to wear white! A lot of the bridal showers and parties I've been to, the bride didn't wear white, so don't feel like you HAVE to wear that color!

I didn’t wear white to my rehearsal. I got my dress at Ross, they usually have a great selection. If you go early in the day/right when they open it won’t be crowded (at least mine isn’t) if you’re worried about the virus.
For my shower I wore a white dress that I had in my closet already.

I've actually seen the best selection at Ross, Burlington, Dillards, Nordstrom Rack

I didn't wear white to *any* of my pre-wedding events - if you can't find something you like (or anything at all) - just find clothes in colors you like
