White or Clear Umbrellas

If it rains, you need to move the festivities indoors. Providing umbrellas is not a sufficient plan B.

The wedding ceremony and reception are all indoors but if it is raining a bit and my fiancé and I still want to take a few pictures outside I would like to have umbrellas.

I've seen brides post pictures on here using the clear umbrellas and I like those because you can still see the full bridal look without the umbrella covering anything. Btw, those pictures in the rain are some of my favorites so don't worry if it does rain - you'll still get some great pictures!

Clear umbrellas turn out amazing in photos. But I think white ones will look nice too.

I would probably do black umbrellas, I'd be worried about clear or white affecting the photographer's lighting or creating a weird flash. Maybe ask them if that could be an issue?

I bought clear bubble umbrellas the Monday before my Saturday wedding because there was like a 70 or 80% chance of rain and storms. Turns out me panicking and buying those was all for nothing because there wasn't a single drop of rain on our wedding day then.

I would do either clear or black for umbrellas, but I would also check with your photographer first to see if they have any umbrellas to use in case it does rain before you buy anything.

I didn't even bother returning them. I'm keeping one for myself and then gifted the other 3 I ordered to my sisters/BMs

Clear umbrellas won't affect the lighting, a professional will surely work with them!

I had that plan too in case of rain, we did however, have time to take all the important photos before it poured on my wedding day.

If this is your only plan b option I’d go for clear umbrellas.

Clear would be be amazing! Rain isn’t ideal, but it’s kind of cool to connect with nature and it makes everything is so fresh! It will turn out picturesque no matter what
