White v. Ivory tablecloths

The white may not be too overpowering depending on your lighting and accent colors. White is a very good base to go off, while not every color looks right with ivory.

I went with ivory because I’m not a fan of pure white

White has always been the color of choice for a clean, elegant look. The problem with ivory is that the undertone varies so much and can be an unattractive yellow.

What are your other decor components? flowers? runners? napkins? candles?

Does the company offer swatches so you can order small pieces and choose a color that way?

I am up in the air about runners and napkins colors exactly. But one will be lavender and the other will be silver... I think. The center pieces will be mis matched containers with a mixture of baby's breath, hydrangeas, and ranunculus (plus some others I don't know the name of). But the containers will be a little older looking mismatched. Like old milk bottles and glass whiskey flask things.

The website I found is called yourweddinglinen.com and they are pretty cheap. So I think I might just order one tablecloth, one napkin, and one runner and see how that works out! Good idea! Thanks!

Since the wedding has a vintage feel we are just going with a ivory cloth.

We are using ivory, but our theme calls for it. We are using dusty colors to go along with our rustic/vintage elegance theme. Ivory tablecloths with sage table runners. Just make sure if you get ivory tablecloths that you also get ivory chair covers, napkins, etc... it'll look very weird if your tablecloth is ivory and other things are stark white. Then it'll really look "dingy". You need to make sure everything matches.
