Who are you marrying?

I am marrying the guy I have been calling my husband since before I proposed to him.

We'd been talking for 7 weeks when I said to myself "One day, I am gonna marry that man."

It's strange to explain, as I had many partners before, but no one like him. The way I put it is: "You touched my soul, and there was nothing that could be done."

We have our ups and downs, but I never regret messaging him, proposing to him, or being with him at our lowest points. I wouldn't be without him. He makes me a better woman in every way, and he's given me immense strength to deal with some really awful stuff.

I tell him I am bound to him, and it's true. Leaving simply isn't an option, and I don't mind at all.

I'm marrying my best friend who I met at our first job (outside our home countries) and thanks to it. (We never would have in a million years met if it weren't for our jobs!) My fiancé is a quietly passionate person and loves to enjoy life. His hidden talents are that he's electrically inclined, can make a really good fish dish (but not much cooking otherwise), makes me laugh, and has great taste. He's made me a better person. We're coming up on 5 years together, and it'll be more than 6 by the time we're married.

I’m marrying the man of my dreams. Literally. I’ve always emailed my bestie when I had weird dreams that stuck with me well after waking up. 3 of those dreams were about a love interest and in those dreams since meeting who is now my fiancé, yeah it was him. The first was about me dating a guy of a different race who was raised Catholic. My fiancé is half Korean and raised catholic. The other two contained the same guy character. In the first, he lost part of his foot protecting me from the bad guys. My fiancé is an amputee. In the last dream he’s going to battle. My fiancé is a huge military nerd and loves the stories of knights and honor. He proposed to me dressed as a Templar Knight.
