Who are you walking down the aisle with?

My father is walking me down the aisle! I am his middle child and the only one who got his brown eyes! I am trying to find the right rendition, but our father/daughter dance will be to "Brown Eyed Girl"!

Although my mom and my step dad at the time have split, he is still part of my life (also my brother's father) and he's raised me since I was 4. I only saw it fitting that he would walk me. I asked him and he accepted! I'm super happy!!

He was so excited about this, he went out and got a custom tux and top hat.

My dad 100%. I wouldn't have anyone else do it. I'm definitely a daddy's girl. I know he'll be a mess though and we've been joking about how I'll have to keep tissues stashed in my dress. Although he may not have been joking...

I'll be alone. It's a bit sad because I wish my Dad were alive. But we've decided that I will walk alone and that we will stand with the officiant just the two of us. To us it symbolizes that we are confident to walk alone but choose each other in this world. :-)
