Who are you walking down the aisle with?

My parents want to keep it relatively traditional in that sense. Everyone expects it to be my father, but I absolutely hate the idea of my father 'giving' me away to another man. I want to ask my mother to walk with us, if they hate the idea of me walking by myself.

My Mom and Dad are both escorting me! We are very close and I couldn't imagine not having my Mom with me. My FH parents are also both escorting him.

Thank you Sinead, unfortunately my father passed away last year and I have 6 brothers Lord knows it will be a BIG fall out if I choose one over the other so I decided my daughters are perfect to walk me down to their future step-father, to me it's a warm welcome to the family to my FH , in honor of my father I decided to make my wedding colors orange and blue because he was a big New York Mets fan and I love the colors

I had originally thought just my dad but my mom made a comment a while back asking if they both would walk me down the aisle so I may do that. I'm actually going away for the weekend with my friend who is officiating so I am going to talk through some of our ceremony stuff with him this weekend and try to make some decisions.

My niece - I had mentioned in a previous post that my dad had passed away in January and I don't feel like any one man in my life can fill his shoes in quite the right way. So, I am having my only niece, whom I am very close to, walk me down the aisle wearing Converse sneakers (his favorite) which he wore for his own wedding.

Probably my dad. Maybe also one of my boys pushing my chair somewhere behind me so that if I fall I have someone right there asap without taking my dad down with me

I’m walking down the aisle with my dad... honestly not too excited about that because our relationship is strained at best. I wanted my brothers to walk me down the aisle, but everyone told me I was being selfish (my family) and had to let go of my anger (not angry, just not close to my dad).
