I have 8 bridesmaids and 2 are my sisters, 1 is a cousin, 1 is my FSIL, 2 are friends from college and the other 2 are my friends from middle and high school. I'm curious to know how you ladies's bridesmaids are linked to you.

We’re keeping our wedding party small. My MOH is my cousin but we grew up like sisters. My 2 bridesmaids are also my cousins. I’ll also have a Junior bridesmaid. FH will have his brother as his best man, and my brother and his best friend as groomsmen.

Oh wow you made a close friend at a bridal party. That is pretty amazing. There's a lot of girls who I've been in bridal parties that I've never seen again.

    I have 4!

My MOH is my best friend, who I've knows for 4-5 years now. I met her when she started dating mine and my FH's friend! One of my bms I've known since birth and is like my sister. One I've known since we were kids, but we lost touch around middle school, then reunited when we found out her husband and my FH were good friends! My last bm I've known for almost 2 years, but it feels like we've been friends for forever!

I'm having 5. My MoH is my best friend since the third grade, the closest girl I will ever have to a sister. Another BM is a good friend from high school. My brother's wife is another bridesmaid. No obligations here, she and I are close friends, and I'm glad she's my bridesmaid Smiley smile The other two are friends from college.

    I love all these girls.

My 7 bridesmaids/men are as follows:

MOH - my best friend since I was 17

Bridesmaids - College roommates, Disney College Program roommates, pregnancy buddy

    Bridesmen - former co-worker/roommates

My literal Bride Squad. The ones I go to for just about any & everything.

I'm having 10 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids. I come from a big family, and so do my parents. I'm pretty sure I've upset a cousin or two by not picking them.

My Matron of Honor is my oldest sister, who was like a second mom to us. My twin sister is another bridesmaid, and my other sister is also a bridesmaid. I have two cousins as bridesmaids, the ones I'm closest to and closest to in age. I also have my two closest friends from high school, my two closest friends from college, and my future sister in law, who I'm really close to.

My junior bridesmaids are my Matron of Honor's twin daughters, who will be 13 by the time of the wedding. I'm their favorite and fun aunt Smiley shame and I love them to bits. They have to be there.

I have 6 bridesmaids. Bridesmaids are half family, half friends. Two are my sisters. My twin sister is going to my Maid of Honor. I have a cousin as a bridesmaid. My best friend since fourth grade is another bridesmaid. My two closest friends from college are my other two bridesmaids. I knew exactly who I wanted when we decided on 6 bridesmaids.

I'm having 7 bridesmaids. One is my childhood best friend. One is my sister. One is a friend I got close to at my work, and we kept in touch even after we left and are now really close. One is a friend I met when I did a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia. She was the only American in my classes, and it turned out she lived on the same street as me for a while when we were kids, small world. One is my college friend and roommate for my first two years, and another one is another college friend. The 7th is my future sister in law.

My fiancee and I are still undecided: we might ditch it altogether.
If we're having one,it will be small :2-3 on each side, no flower girls/ring bearer: I'll only ask the two sisters I'm closest to (1 twin sis and a little "baby" sister coz I really want to include and honor them, with or without a wedding party. If I ask both sisters and they accept,( I'm 99,9% sure they will), my side will be 1 best woman, 1 junior groomswoman (she will be 16 by the time ) or maybe 1 best woman,1 "jr best woman"( to make her feel special 😄🤭).My fiancee is very close to her bro so she'll ask him to be her man of honor, 100% sure and I think she'll ask her sister even though they're not close (they are 10,5 years apart).
Neither of us would ask friends or cousins coz if we're having a WP and we include all of them , we will end up with 12-14 on each side, we don't want that! But we can't pick some over others , we don't want to hurt their feelings.Notice that it would be "all-female" by my side coz I'm not close to her bro even though I like him, same about my fiancee and my sisters ... We are not traditional so we will ignore potential family pressures (to have my sisters by her side, her bro my my side, to include cousins, etc ...).
