It was him. He came up being me and wrapped his arms around me and said he would love it if I would be his girlfriend.

He called me his girlfriend before I called him my boyfriend

We both did. We started off friends w/ benefits and had a conversation about seeing other people and led to us realizing we didn’t want that

He did! I wanted to be more then friends but he was a little hesitant but he eventually came around to asking me out and to be his girlfriend!

She did! We were watching a movie and she said, "So when can I start telling people that you are my girlfriend?" I said, "Well, I guess when you ask me to be." And she did

He did! Because we lived in different cities we could only see each other once maybe twice a month. So on our fifth date, he invited me to his military ball and he introduced me to all of his friends as his girlfriend. And the rest is history .

We were on the edge for about 2 months before he finally just asked me to be his girlfriend

I think it was a mutual agreement on our part. After our first date on September 28th, 2015 my FH and I were inseparable. We did everything together every single second of the day that we weren’t at work or school.

Come December 4th, 2015 we were out with friends for a night of pool when we decided to go to local diner open 24/7 and some friends asked us how long we had been dating. It was awkward at first and I looked at my FH and he said “we aren’t” and paused for a second before saying “but we might as well be” and the conversation just ended. Most everyone assumed we were together already so no one was really surprised when we decided on our way back to the apartment we were sharing with our friends that we were going to actually consider ourselves as a dating couple. I literally looked at him and said “so we might as well be dating huh?” and he said “yeah I believe so.” and that was that.

He later announced to my family and friends while I was at work one night that we had made it official and was so happy that he stayed home from work that night to spend time with me and my family.

Our 3 year anniversary is tomorrow and we are still going strong.

He did. He introduced me as his wife to be after dating for a couple months. I told him he lost his mind. But he was right

He literally freaked me out by getting on one knee and asking me to be his girlfriend. Knew he was a keeper then.

He did. He made it very clear that he was asking me to be his girlfriend haha
