He did! We were friends for quite a while through mutual friends, plus he "dated" one of my friends (yes, I checked with her before going after him lol). But after my senior prom, he asked me to officially be his girlfriend (obviously I accepted), and here we are almost 8 years later.

It was both of us sorta who defined the relationship. He’s the one who officially asked me to be his girlfriend, but we both kinda discussed it ahead of time (it was a bit complicated due to my ex)

This was a mutual decision. Started off casually hanging out and then one day we decided we only wanted to be with each other.

He asked me to "be his girlfriend" when I was a senior in high school.

I defined it. He just asked me out a few days after lol

He did. We were in that we're jus talking stage. So one night I was going out with some friends because I didn't have a "boyfriend" and he got upset and before I left he said so are we together or not?! And long story short I stayed in that night.

We had broken up when he moved six hours away, but started talking again. When he was in town visiting family, he stayed the night with me.. 😉 A couple weeks later, when he was back home, he asked if I was his girlfriend and I said yes.

Me! I don’t like the awkward stage of “are we exclusive” “what are you looking for” I made it clear from the beginning I was looking for a serious relationship.
