Who defined the relationship? You or your fiancé(e)?

We didn’t. At some point we described each other as boyfriend/girlfriend but no idea who did that first

He did we was only 3 weeks into our relationship when he asked me to marry him

He did, I just kept saying we were unofficially official until he decided to make it official and ask me lol. We've been close friends for a few years and there was always a spark there, it was just never the right time until now!

He was the one who did. We were walking around on our third date and he said. "I guess we can make it official now as boyfriend and girlfriend."

He did, he formally asked me to be his girlfriend.

We were pretty clear early on that we were more than just friends. The first “title” I got was when he told a friend he needed to discuss something with his “other” in private.

Since we had a significant age difference and we both had children we decided to sit down and hash out exactly what we both wanted and expected, to avoid any games or miscommunication. During this conversation we both made it clear we were looking for a long term relationship, marriage, and at least 1 more child if the relationship was to become serious. It worked out pretty well, we both went into the relationship knowing what one another wanted out of it. Here we are almost 7 years later, with 4 children (The youngest being our biological child together) getting married in just a few months!

We both kind of did! He asked about it and we talked about it; this was on our third date.

I would say we both did. We were best friends for many years before he told me he was secretly in love with me. I ran, he chased, eventually I said ok lol. We “dated” I guess and never really said hey this is what we are. Eventually we just started introducing each other as BF/GF. We don’t even have an anniversary because we honestly have no clue when it became official haha

I asked if we were "official." We were in high school where everyone goes through that phase of just "talking" and I had to know if it was more than that.

He defined the relationship. Asked me to be his girlfriend before I moved out of state for school. He moved with me about 6 months later.

I pushed him to officially ask me out after 3 months of going in dates.

He did. We were apart for 2 months after he asked me to be his gf because of the army so it never got to how serious is this until he told me some girl came on to him at the beach and he was very upfront and said no thanks I have a gf.

This one is hard because we were best friends for 4 years before dating and already knew each other's families. I will say him since he asked me and my daughter to move in with him at which point he started referring to me as his girlfriend.

Both. He had called me his girlfriend and then a few weeks later we had the talk and confirmed it. LOL.
