Who defined the relationship? You or your fiancé(e)?

He did early on. We literally went out four times the first week we met. I don't think there was ever a formal discussion. He introduced me as his girlfriend upon meeting his friends and family.

He even told my family he was going to marry me the first time he met them.

We've know each other since kindergarten and dated for a couple months in high school split for q year and got back together. From the beginning I defined the relationship and he just was clueless on what a relationship was 😂💁 I love my man so much! 😍

We had an instant connection and by the second date we both decided that we were a thing.

He did. I just thought we were casually dating for almost a year. (I was all eyes for him but was convinced he was seeing other women). Then right around our 1 year he asked me to be his girlfriend officially. Completely floored me. He then told me that he's been referring to me as his girlfriend for at least 6 months. And that he pretty much thought of me as his girlfriend by the end of the first month.

Way to let a girl know! Haha! I was so inside my head during that first year! Then 2yrs in, he asked me the "where do you see this going" question.

It was him since he asked me to be his girlfriend, lol. In the earlier months of our relationship, we did have to track back to find the "official" date because the days just kinda flew by since we were in the honeymoon phase for a while.

I straight up asked him what we were. I dont like playing that "what are we" game.

It was him for sure. I mean, the feeling was mutual. But he was anxious for us to be defined and get me off the market! Lol

He went old school and during dinner asked me to be his girlfriend 😍

Neither of us discussed labels and whatnot. We dated and spent almost every weekend together and here we are.

Him! He asked me to be his girlfriend in his jeep after we had been casually dating for a few months

After about 3 months we were on the phone and he was talking about how he was telling some friends at work about his girlfriend I laughed and said "Girlfriend" I was wondering when you were going to start calling me that!

I officially asked him to be my boyfriend... and then I bought him an engagement ring 2 years later but waited 3 YEARS to give it to him when he proposed to me! 😅

He does...calls me his wifey when his on the phone

Me all day.. I will say my husband..he still says "my girl."
