Who did you share your engagement news with first?

Well his parents knew first, he showed them the ring. Then my dad, when he asked for my hand. First to be told we were engaged would be my mom and then my brother.

I guess technically my FH's friend who took the picture/video of the proposal, but I called my mom first, then the rest of the family, then friends.

I texted my MoH first, and my mom knew beforehand as FH had kept the ring at her house until not long before proposing

I called my best friend who is a flight attendant first. Unfortunately she didn't pick up, but our close friends were present.

My mom and dad. I was in Paris with my husband (then fiancé) when we got engaged. We went back to our room to call my parents first on FaceTime, then his parents and then I texted my best friend in our group chat and we then had a three-way call. They were the most surprise since they actually didn’t know.

FH surprised me and had mostly all of the ladies from my family along with most of my friends at the engagement so they all knew first. My cousin then posted the engagement video on FB. I think the first person I txtd was my friend who lived in Singapore.

Family. His whole family was with us! After that my closest friend.

My mom, dad, and sister were the first people I called. Most of his family already knew it was going to happen that day. We called a few other people and then I printed an announcement and sent it to extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.)

I immediately called my bestfriend.. We told our families the next day.

My husband’s best man was the first to know! My husband called him literally 5 minutes after the proposal hahaha. He has been been his best friend for almost a decade and is like a brother. I soooo badly wanted to call my MOH but I had plans to see her the next day (like 12 hours after the proposal lol) and knew it would be better to wait until I saw her in person so I could see her reaction!

Well if I was able to, I would have told my mom. My fiancé proposed on vacation, when I had no cell service. I was unable to tell my mom for a few days. However, I told my bestest friend! I said, "You will never guess what just happened?" She knew without me having to say it. Then, she called my mom

FH's brother, sis in law and 16 month old niece. We waited until we got home to call anyone and we live with them.
