I am having a really hard time figuring out who is going to provide the decorations and set them up at the wedding. Most of my family and friends are in the wedding and won't be able to help much the day of. I know I could probably pay a vendor to provide everything, but is that best option? What if...

I am having a really hard time figuring out who is going to provide the decorations and set them up at the wedding. Most of my family and friends are in the wedding and won't be able to help much the day of. I know I could probably pay a vendor to provide everything, but is that best option? What if I want to have some DIY decorations? Thanks in advance for the advice Smiley smile

    What is in your contract with the venue? What time is your wedding? It depends on how much needs doing but it sounds like they are cutting it close. I'd nail them down to a time the room needs to be set. I had all the time in the world, but my coordinator was awful and things weren't ready when we arrived. It's disappointing. They should have a contractual time.

    You will either need to hire a wedding planner / coordinator OR you, FH, and wedding party decorate. Unless you can sweet talk some family members into helping you out.
