Who dropped "the L word" first?

My wife did. And it totally surprised me.

I told him that i thought i loved him first. During a phone convo after i graduated college

He did! I didn’t want to say it first, but had been dying to for a while! He told me the day after his birthday. He said he had wanted to tell me on the day, we had a perfect day, but he didn’t want to risk ruining his bday if I didn’t say it back lol. It was one of the best moments ever 🥰

I think he did, but both of us kind of said it at the same time!

He did.... after we had been dating about a week 🙈 it really caught me off guard but I said it back after hesitating a minute and he was so embarrassed, but it turned out fine and here we are 5 years later! Our relationship got really serious really fast right from the start, we pretty much knew we were going to get married after a few months of dating but wanted to wait until we were older and had our lives figured out.

I did! Over FaceTime. We had just gone out a few times and I just Knew he was the one. We weren’t formally together but I tried to go out for girls night and all I could Think about was him.

I did! We had only been dating maybe a month and I just knew he was my person. He could tell I wanted to say it and got it out of me. He said it back immediately after Now we've been together for 7 years and are getting married in just over a month!

He did! On New Years Eve

So I let it slip, but we really didn't say it again until later. In the beginning of our relationship, FH told me he was really hurt in his past relationship where he told his girlfriend he loved her. So he told me he wouldn't say it again until he knew he was going to marry the person or at least know it would be a long term thing. I waited a while and then just said it one day, I believe 2 years into our relationship. Then he told me he loved me on our 3 year anniversary. And while my family and friends thought we were so weird, it was super special to me that he said it when he was ready -- not just because.

He dropped the "L" word first. We were on the same track though because I had put together like a cute little love book that I had planned on giving him for Christmas that same year. I had a page in it that says "I love you in every language". That was my telling him but he verbalized it first.

Uh..... to be honest I forgot lol I think he did

He said it first, but I told him that he was going to fall for me.

My boo did, we were on a date at crystal hot springs and I got butterflies.

He did. This is after I'd been texting my best friend everyday telling her how "in love" I was with him, and I just knew he felt the same way. He said it shortly after, and we shower each other with "I love you"'s all the time. I'm a firm believer that you can never say it too much, and he agrees.
