Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024?

We’ll likely be 1/12/23 if all works out as hoped! Going to check out venues in San Juan next weekend and once that contract is signed I’ll work on getting a planner involved since it’s destination and set up some dress shopping trips with the shoes I plan to get this weekend! I’m also studying for my clinical licensure exam for counseling so trying to balance planning and studying is proving to be a task itself

This was super great to read. I'll be getting married in June 2023 and feel like I'm right on track! I still haven't nailed down a caterer and haven't started reaching out to florists but am otherwise right there with you! I've been collecting decor and other items since getting engaged in July 2021. Haven't gotten my dress yet bc I'm worried I'll change my mind between now and then!

June 2024. Booking our venue in a couple months and have been reaching out to other vendors as well.

I’m planning for 2023 and I have found the venue but haven’t booked. We’re waiting on funds to clear but right now I’m working on the guest list and wedding website.

I got proposed to in May of 2021 and we’ve decided to wait till December of 2023 to get married. I’m confused on where to start but we have a theme picked out already

Hello my wedding date is Friday October 13 2023. I am making my center pieces and giveaways out of resin and I’m customizing them myself instead of buying them. I am also finishing school in the mean time.

My husband and I are doing a 15 year vow renewal/the wedding we never had, so I have been planning it for a long time. My suggestion is definitely book what you can or feel comfortable doing. Then just start planning all the little things like songs for the dances, what the tables will look like. Get a binder or folder to keep all your ideas organized and in one place. We are getting married 07.20.2024 and we have done so much already. Set our budget, decided what state to get married in, I have purchased my dresses, and we have narrowed it down to one venue. I have put the guest list together, asked my brother to sing, picked out the invitations and save the date cards. Trying to get everyone's address (because I am not doing invite via social media)! A few other things but still taking my time (sorda, lol)

I have booked all of my vendors besides venue. I have been planning it as if our wedding is in 2023 rather than 2024. My mind set is to have everything paid off by the end of 2023 besides the venue that way 2024 we don’t have to stress about paying the vendors or anything like that so we can focus on the venue and centerpieces

Your venue is very important to find and book ASAP! Especially with all of the postponements from 2020 and 2021 being booked (even for 2023), I recommend looking online for venues in your area and start making phone calls to be able to tour venues. Keep in mind that you don't have to book a venue just because you took a tour. I suggest touring at least 2 different venues that align with the vibe of the wedding you want to have, and giving yourself options instead of simply going with the first one you see.
