I think I've decided my colors for the wedding. Haven't found a suitable venue yet but I'm keeping my hopes up about a couple I have found. I know I want fall of 2023. But do t be a date yet. That depends on the venue we choose. I'm excited but I feel like a slacker compared to my friends who are also getting married in 2023.

11-11-2023. Who knew tge amount of planning need 2 years away!

We got engaged this past July and we just booked our venue for November 18, 2023. A lot of places we toured had most of 2023 open but we wanted to be proactive and get that out of the way so we could relax/focus on smaller details later.

2/3/23. We booked the venue and sent deposit for there and the flowers also the photographer and the dj/photo booth. Dress is bought bc they said 2-4 months for it to come in and I don’t usually change sizes I’m pretty much the same I’ve been since my last kiddo. Save the dates we’re sent out also.

June 10, 2023! Still trying to figure everything out. Thinking about a park ceremony and an indoor reception. I have nothing else set in stone still. lol

We are looking at the beginning of September 2023, trying to keep the dates open so we don't limit ourselves on venders. Right now things are a bit difficult because we are wanting to get married in VT but live in WA. Seeing locations and venders is difficult. We are trying to do video calls to try and make up for not being able to be there in person.

Right? It's weird because you either have vendors who are booking and booking up fast or you have those who won't even touch 2023. There was a makeup artist whom I was interested in contacting but she recently said she can't even think about booking for 2023 yet as she isn't mentally prepared for it.

2023 wedding here (Jan 2023).. been doing everything little by little ..even though someday can seem a bit frustrating as to finding exactly what we want but in the end we remember this our special day and it's what we want in the end and no matter how things go we know we can do this because we got eachother.
I'm personally one who tries to plan ahead as much as possible . I've had many try to say oh you got time your wedding is still so far away.. I simply yell them I'm not a 6 month planner I want to be sure our wants are met and carefully consider all options so I don't feel we were forced to make a decision we will regret or hate late.

June 2023! Venue booked (includes catering) and likely booking the photographer this week.
