Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024?

Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024? What are you doing wedding related to keep yourselves busy in the mean time? I want to be proactive so me and my FH wont be stressed when the time nears. I'm open to any advise.

I feel like I can slowly plan things and get it paid off and not rush and pay everything at once.

    Hi,

I am having my wedding 03.11.23. I just booked my venue and I am super excited! I have already proposed to my Matrons (2) and maid of honor. I will let my bridesmaids wait until a year out. Before i ask them I kind of want to have dresses, hair, shoes, etc picked out already to give them the option to say yes or no. My colors will be Plum, Navy with accents of light blue, lavender, and sage. I am super excited, I can't believe THIS is happening for me. I look forward to sharing wedding ideas

Getting married 09/09/2023 and starting to plan already. Our favorite cupcake place is already booked most of 2022 so I am finding its better to lock down those vendors ASAP esp with the backlog of COVID weddings. For things I want in my wedding, I am looking for sales and buying things slowly as they become on sale so its not a big chunk of money all at once. I am set on my colors and have been for a long time so I know exactly what I am looking for.

I have my DJ booked, photography booked, cupcakes and about to have catering booked. My venue wont book for 2023 until the start of the year. Doing it this way you can have payment plans and make smaller payments overtime instead of one large amount. We are getting married 09/09/2023. Our cupcake/cake place is already booked most of 2022 and the DJ we are going with only has 1 weekend left in 2022 so it is totally okay to start getting those vendors booked! I plan on dress shopping Summer 2022. I totally didnt realize i already responded to this but oh well lol.

January 9, 2023 is our wedding date but I'm not sure what to do. I've already payed the deposit for my venue but that's pretty much it. Is anyone doing a luncheon for their bridal party???

Got engaged at the end of October - our date is October 7, 2023! Honestly, we already have our venue booked as our date was one of the last weekends available in Oct. 2023. And we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Also, they are letting us pay over the course of the next 2 years, just as long as it is all paid 30 days prior. So that worked great for us.

Seems so far away and I know we will be looking into catering after the new year, as some of those are already booking into 2023. It gives you time to price/weigh your options!! Also just trying to make it till April, as that will be the 18-month countdown mark!!

Best of luck with your planning!

July 2023! Have the venue (includes all food and cake) and photographer booked. I ordered my save the dates as I have some family in Italy and Poland and a lot of people are going to make our wedding into a vacation. Florist is already picked out too. Waiting until May to schedule an appointment for my dress. Once that’s decided I will probably figure out what colors and flowers I want.

So refreshing to see people planning, I keep getting unwanted advice about how I should wait until a year out to start planning.

Omg please don’t listen to those people! Why WOULDN'T you plan as early as possible if you have the time? I’m February 2023 and have my venue, photographer, DJ, hair and makeup booked and my dress is ordered. Appointment with caterer this month. And actively shopping for bridesmaid dresses. This way you have first choice of everything! (Although my venue was booked all Saturdays of Feb and March 2023 except For my date of 2/23; I’m in Florida and March is the most popular month.) Early bird catches the work as they say! And a year really isn’t even early tbh

Hey. Congratulations!! I’m getting married in November 2023. Glad to see know I’m not the only one planning early. The vendors and decorators are giving me the run around basically saying I’m early but I’m early planning everything. I just like to stay ahead of things. I’m really considering a wedding planner so they can deal with them. Lol.

Lol girl same. I have an event coordinator that will deal with them dealing up to the day of. I wanted to give myself time to plan and save and not stress myself out in a year trying to plan. And we're paying for everything ourselves. Thankfully my fiance is firefighter and we're having the reception there.

Yess! That’s exactly my plan. Stress- free! I started thinking about all the details and got an instant headache. So hopefully hiring someone to coordinate will make things smooth sailing.

May 2023 here! Just in the process of booking our venue now, I’m a little worried about when is the perfect time of day to get married since we’re doing a Friday and I have to decide that before I can sign the scary contract 😂

Our wedding is October 21st, 2023! We got engaged in June 2021 and I've actually booked a few things already! I'm a teacher and wanted to plan some big things during my time off. We found our venue, caterer, videographer, and photographer so far! The first photographer I had asked was already booked for my date 2 years out!! That really put me in panic mode haha! We were able to make our initial down payments and our photographer is flexible with earlier payments to spread it out even more. It's nice because now we can space out payments and take our time booking other things! Next on our list is a band! Something I am waiting to do is find my dress, I'm aiming to do that this summer being a little more than a year away from our date. Giving ourselves over 2 years to plan is giving us time with (fingers crossed) COVID and making our dream wedding affordable for us!
