Who Else Is Having a Vintage/elegant Themed Wedding?!?!

I am !!!!! Our theme is Great Gatsby. I told the guests it’s optional to dress period appropriate. But I really hope that they do. I love the elegant gowns, the opulence, everything about the dress of that time is beautiful.

Ours is vintage. Our wedding invitations, table numbers, etc. are all art deco. We're having vintage books on the table and vintage lanterns with flowers. I'm also looking into getting vintage accessories. I've got a vintage typewriter that we're going to use for the wedding book table.

We are doing a little touch of vintage. Most of the vintage will come from accessories and little details like:

- Vintage-inspired invitations with a wax seal

- Vintage mirror as our Welcome sign

- Vintage ring box, velvet in Tiffany Blue

- Antique style chargers for the reception tables

- Vintage frames for wedding signs

- Vintage style jewelry for accessories

- Vintage cake cutting and serving set

Thanks! I need some more ideas to really have guests feel the theme without it being overdone. Our venue has the antique chargers we are going to use, other than that just candles. Hopefully, we can find some other things.

I’m planning on having 50’s touches. Bee hive hair, vintage makeup, and bright red lips and heels. Not to mention polka dots everywhere!

I am! Our theme is vintage with a splash of Disney magic! Vintage (50s) will be my dress, shoes, and the table decor. Each centerpiece will represent 1 of the 5 main movie focuses along with Hidden Mickeys! Our colors are neutral pinks and blushes so they have that elegant feel of a wedding, but also no clashing between all the different colors!
