Who else loves lace? Show off your lace dresses and/or veils!

Is lace a requirement for your dress and/or your veil? For me, it was! I had my dress and veil custom made and in the design process the one thing I really wanted was lace. It is so pretty and romantic. My bridesmaids and I went fabric shopping together in San Francisco for my dress and veil and we had a lot of fun looking at the many different types of lace. I had no idea all the different styles and prices! I ended up choosing a chantilly lace and found a very near match to trim my veil.

This is my lace, which will be over champagne.

**ETA: Why yes, I do have my dress swatch with me at all times, even at work, just so I can stare at it..... LOL

Before alterations pics. Going to have it hemmed and taken in. I'm having matching lace capped sleeves added to it as well. Can't wait!

I gotta say, I am LOVING all the pretty pictures of our GORGEOUS lace dresses/veils/etc. There just seems to be so few amongst the zillions of pics of other gorgeous non-lace gowns. It's sort of comforting to know I'm not alone with my little lacy dress. Shout out to my Sisters-in-Lace!

Thought I wanted traditional lace it ended up going with a more causal modern lace with hand embroidered overlay. Stock photos below:

After I first started trying on dresses, when I was completely open and had no idea what I wanted, it became clear that the only thing I felt sure about was that I wanted lace. I love it!!
And all of these dresses are beautiful!
