Makes sense, Karen! Proximity and travel definitely play a part in our guest lists.

I will definitely have way more. My dad was one of 8 kids so he has a lot of siblings and they have a lot of kids.

We both have pretty large families. Her's lives closer to us so we see them more.

I have the bigger family. Our guest list is 98.2% my family lol.

My family is bigger and i will have more family attending our wedding because it will be in my home town... my fiance is from St. Louis.

We both have big Italian families, which caused our guest list to be bigger than I'd like.

He definitely does! All my family is either dead, disowned, or lived in another state my whole life. 😅 But I would argue I have a closer bond with my remaining family than he does with the majority of his.

I do! We were actually going over our guest list last night and we have 130 guests. Only 50 of them are his family and friends. And that is only having my immediate family 🙈
