She does, but we both have massive families on our moms’ sides. Her mom is the second or third youngest of 8 and mine was the youngest of 5–LOTS of cousins for both of us.

I have the larger family - my mom is one of nine kids so there's lots of aunts and uncles and cousins. My FH has a smaller sized family, but it makes his side of the family gatherings more intimate and not so crazy!!

Guilty! My family is pretty big. He pretty much only has his parents and his grandpa. They're not really family oriented for good reasons.

My FH definitely has a large immediate family. He has 2 children of his own, 4 siblings, 2 nephews and 4 nieces. However, my extended family that I am abnormally close with because of how I grew up evens it out. I have cousins that are like siblings and aunts/uncles that are like parents.

He has the bigger immediate family (not hard, I'm an only), but I think I've got more 1st cousins.
Doesn't matter, I'm essentially disowned by most of my family, my father's side because of values, my mother's side because of the invitations...
MIL's bio mom is also estranged, because MIL dared to move a few times in her life...

Yes, totally healthy families over here!
We've made a "framily" of people where we are, to add on to the little bio family we've still got who support us.
