Who has been the most helpful?

My sister and the wedding planner. They have given advice that makes sense to me. I love my other friends dearly, but some of their advice was not needed.

My family hands down and a few friends have been really helpful.

So far my photographer, who is a friend. Although I have a feeling she might become family soon...

I have been making most decisions on my own .... my mom only helped with paying for the venue .... and she only helped by calling the place and booking it for my .... i payed with my own money

Definitely my mom. She is helping to plan a second celebration party, and she is helping to plan a bridal shower as well, so she has been very involved in the plans. I also vent to her about everything lol. Other than that, it's mostly me and my FH making most of the decisions together.

Money wise, our parents. My dad is chipping in 15% of the total bill so far, and fiance's parents are gifting us a honeymoon (within given amount).

Advice wise, wedding party and a friend group of recent/current brides. It's like a geo-targeted wedding wire forum! Same geographical location, same large group of friends, same general mind-set, etc. So thankful for these girls (and parents)!

My mom for sure! She did at least 90% of the work for my invites, reached out to photographers, and is helping me make centerpieces!

My FMIL for sure! She has been so great contacting all our vendors and getting appointments scheduled.

My mom and grandma have helped quite a bit to help with deocorations, favors and set up. MoH stepped up for bachelorette and night before plans. FH is dealing with hotel stuff and helping with the caterer.

I've done all the planning myself though I did ask my mom and aunts opinion of a thing or two.

In terms of money, my mom. But otherwise, it's just me, the wedding blogs, and these forums. It's been really stressful because everyone (and by everyone I mean my family) has an opinion about how they think things should go, but no one really understands the cost of a wedding and what it takes to actually plan the whole thing. Plus, no one in my family has planned anything "fancy" that has taken place outside of my little hometown & involves things like professional caterers and RSVPs...so online resources have been a big help.

Mom for sure, but almost overly helpful. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love and respect her and am very appreciative of her help, but she doesn’t focus much in the fact that it’s FH’s wedding too.
