After a long list of crappy internet dating adventures, I saw a commercial one late night for one of eharmony’s free communication weekends. And I thought, let me give that site another whirl. I had a profile on there but never had any luck so I kinda forgot about it. Well I log in and I had a message that sent earlier in the month. I thought well, he prob wont respond since its almost a month later. He did, and here we are 258 days from saying I do!

We met at a high school party. I was drunk He approached me and we chatted for a bit. I left with my friend that he knew. I went to another party 2 weeks later with the same friend. He was there. When we left he asked my friend for my number. And so it began...

I went to dinner with some people at a dining hall in college and he was among them- we just so happened to be seated next to each other. The rest was history

I met fh online of all places! Our story is....well, id call it unique but i seriously doubt were the only ones. I was seeing someone, and saw a dating app on his phone. I downloaded it to see what it was (i had never been on one and had no clue!) I put in my profile that i wasnt looking for anything and that i was taken. Well, fh came across my profile and messaged me literally an hour fter i broke it off with the guy. (I found out what he was up to and see ya!!) He asked me why i was on there if i had a guy. I told him i was newly single (very newly!!!) And we started talking. One slow step after another, and here we are. That was 6 years ago (holy crap!!! It doesnt seem like its been that long!!!!) Thats our story. Weve had a few Ups and downs (very few downs! But theyre mostly due to my insecurities and were working together to fix them)

We met at the local mall’s food court! 😂 He was 18 and I was 15. Head over heels when I laid eyes on him. He was just starting a serious relationship at the time so we stayed distant friends until we both were available around when I turned 21. Together for 7 years once we marry next July! 😊❤️

Tinder! I tried to cancel our first date because I didn’t want to leave my condo. He convinced me to meet him (a smidge later than originally planned). The next day we had our 2nd date and on our 3rd date he surprised me with a massive bouquet. Tinder is more than a hook up app for a lot of people. I’m so glad I let him change my mind!

No one! We met at a show we were both performing on (stand-up) and I saw him on stage, he saw me, and afterwards he came up and said hi. I broke up with my boyfriend a couple weeks later (he was barely a boyfriend.) FH and started dating a month after that and here we are 8 years later.

On our own. We worked together for a little bit. It was retail, so I think we naturally just bumped into each other.

20 years ago, I met my fiance in the classroom of his high school. I was there on a day where kids from different schools could go to other schools to see how things operated differently. I sat in front of him. Some kid said something dumb to the teacher, and my fiance had the quickest funniest wit that shut the kid up in one sentence, and made the whole class (teacher included) laugh. I turned around, said "Good one", and that was it. Saw him again 6 months later in a restaurant, and developed a close friendship. 8 years later we started dating, and this year he proposed. We get married on Sunday. We both move very slowly in terms of relationships =)
