Who is bringing all the drama?

Weddings can easily attract drama from all sides! Have you experienced any wedding drama? Did it come from friends or family?? Next Question: Who's hosting your shower? Back to the Beginning: Friends or family?

Oh I am so sorry to read that. They are going to miss their dad's wedding because their MOTHER is upset? Ouch.

My first wedding had a lot of drama, mainly caused by my now deceased mom. (Sorry Mom!) Just a lot of opinions followed by a sigh with: "Well.....I guess you can do what you want......."

This time, there was no drama as we kept it simple: My attendants were my two college age sons (they can't argue with Mama, lol!) and one Best Man. Just a simple service, no theme, no stress. It was awesome!

Why can't people just say, "Congratulations! Where and when? Thank you for inviting us!"

My older sister. She is jealous I am getting married first and fights with my fiancé every chance she gets over nothing. She pulls it together when she has to, but it certainly brings the stress at times.

I am sorry to hear that, perhaps someday they will realize their error and apologize. How old are his daughters?

Again, I am so sorry. Too bad the 16 year old can't sneak out of the house and drive her and little sister to the wedding. I am sorry for your fiance, too.

Not really yet, but I'm sure it will, people will get upset or jealous of other people's roles and responsibilities. But I don't really care because it's our wedding and we decide who comes and who gets to be a part of what.

I would say drama has come from my brothers wife, as she makes everything about her. me and my husband were looking for someone to marry us and the pastor that we first picked, she didnt like and she told us that she wouldn't come to our wedding. It's didnt hurt my feelings but I was baffled that she would even say anything like that.

My mother is also a person that gives so many opinions as to what she wants etc for our wedding but she never ask me what I would like and If I say I dont want this or that, she get a little attitude and doesnt want to be bothered

I love this one. I feel so bad but all of the drama was on my side of the family. Our friends are chill so we had no problems.

My mother. When the attention isn't on her, she makes it a point to try to gain it

My dad threw a fit about us not including my male cousin (his nephew) as a groomsmen. Totally uncalled for. I spoke with my cousin and literally the thought hasn’t crossed his mind. Told my dad it was our decision and there are no hurt feelings so it’s a non issue. Also, hubby’s mom thinks it’s stupid that I’m not taking his name. She’s already brought up future kids and possible divorce situations. I told her straight up there are no kids and we aren’t divorce so this is also a non issue. Geez. lol
