Who is doing a candy bar?

I considered doing a candy bar so I researched this. What I read was 4 oz of candy per wedding guest. So 25lbs of candy per 100 people.

It would depend how many guests & how big the bags are the guests will be putting candy in!

Ok so I did one and let me tell ya i did an under estimate of candy. I had 240-250 guests and I only had like 25 pounds of candy. I ended up with like maybe 10 lbs of candy left at the end of the night.

We’re doing a candy bar. There will be around 45-50 people. We’re offering six different types of candy and we just got 5 pound bags of each type. I figure some won’t want any, especially the older guests, and some of the younger ones will want more.

We had a candy bar and offered 11 different types of candy. We had a good mix of hard, gummy/chewy, and chocolate candy. The candy bags were 5x7 in size and we had 40 guests. We got 2-5 pounds of candy per type. It was the perfect amount. People could fill their bags up with no worry of the candy running out and at the end of the night we had a little candy left that we go to enjoy after the wedding.
