Small world!! Yes I'm just trying to find my florist now. Have a couple calls this Friday with a couple but happy to take any local recommendations you may have!

Colors will be cabernet and navy blue suits with green/white/blush florals! It's still over a year away but we're trying to make decisions sooner than later.

Yes Pinole is a quiet little town and I love it I used to live in San Francisco.But we moved to the East Bay due to the crazy expensive rent etc. We are planning to invite 60-70 people. (Still working on this number).Wedding planning is hard

Hi Rebecca! The Publick House is beautiful as well - are you having your reception there?

I am wearing my Grandma's dress (dad's mom). My Grandpa was an only child and his mom worked as a designer/seamstress in a bridal shop in Queens, NY in the '30s and '40s and she designed and made the dress for her soon to be DIL as a gift. Its beautiful and my grandparents were always relationship goals so I've always wanted to wear it. I've had 3 out of 7 fittings so far - I'm a bit taller and more endowed than Grandma was so it needed a lot of work. Plus it is 77 years old so has some age spots that needed disguising so she is covering it with an embroidered organza I bought on vacation with my MOH in Egypt years ago. For the next fitting the new sleeves should be on and the overlay complete.

That's seriously one of the coolest stories I've ever heard! You should do like a history behind the dress. Will you have pictures of your grandmother in the dress to showcase to your guests? Do you have a picture of it?! I'm dying to see it!!
