Thank you! I think I fell in love with that train when I was 6 sitting and looking through old photos with my Grandma on a rainy afternoon. The buttons are original my seamstress added a hidden zipper to hold the weight of the dress because they are so fragile - and will take so long to do up so only needing to do so on the day is a big plus.

I didn't even think of that!! My mom's dress had a train like that and I tried it on one night. Our dog sat on the train and I was dragging him around on it haha (he was like 5 pounds). But ever since I tried it on, I knew I wanted a similarly long train! You're going to look so beautiful! How are you thinking of doing your hair?!

Thank you! I didnt think of it either - one of the women from our church is a seamstress who specializes in updating heirloom gowns for the next bride in the family and she is doing the repairs and alterations. She could tell looking at it that it would need the hidden zipper for stability.

I'm thinking of doing a half up look with waterfall braids and curls. Something soft that fits with the venue and still looks like me - and I tend to either braid my hair or leave it to curl on its own so I though combining those would be good but I still need to find a HMUA and get a professional opinion since I have rather fine slippery hair.

Thank you! We have not settled on a venue yet. After visiting more than 20 we've narrowed it down to two and need to make a decision by end of the week.
