Who is Getting Married March 2019?

Mrs. J Robinson, on February 21, 2018 at 6:50 PM Posted in Planning 0 128

We're getting married March 17, 2019 and I wanted to see who was getting married around the same time! What all have you guys booked as far as vendors and how far into the planning process are you?

We're getting married March 15, 2019 in Pittsburgh. We have our venue (includes catering and bakery), DJ, my dress, and just secured my photographer today!

I think I might be ahead of the game. I'm one of those crazy organized planners. Lol.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a lot of the hard stuff out of the way! We have our venue (catering and bakery too) and photographer all set as well! I've literally made an excel file on what all we will need, how much everything costs, and when everything needs to be done by, so I definitely feel you on being a crazy organized planner haha

March 23, 2019 here. We have our venues, officiant, DJ, photographer, ceremony videographer, decorator, baker, my dress, and hopefully will have the caterer this week (did a taste test Sunday at a bridal show). I’ve also got our guest list done (hopefully can make a few more cuts, but doubtful), started our website, and my BMs and MOH know they need their dresses ordered by September.

That’s great! How was the Bridal Show? We have a couple coming up in my area and I wasn’t sure if they would be beneficial or not. And how’s the website coming along? I’m on the fence on doing one

Oh wow you guys are making me feel way behind! Lol. My day is March 9th 2019. All I have so far is a venue. We have ideas on who we would like to book for photography and food, but we are focused on saving up some money right now for other deposits and just everything else. I plan to start booking more vendors in April. There's so much to do and even though we're a year out I feel like there's so little time.

Honestly it was incredible. There were about 40 vendors there, but it was hosted by the company I am using as decorators, and the baker I previously booked and catering company I wanted to book were both there, so it was a no brainer for me to go. It was $5, but there were so many catering and cake booths you essentially get a full meal! It might not be as helpful to you if you have booked all your vendors though- our caterer doesn’t offer tastings so it was that or book blind, which I couldn’t do!
I’m using the wedding wire website and so far I honestly love it. It has been so easy to create and the templates are all really nice. I personally chose to do one because we are sending out about 200 invites and didn’t want to pay for postage for RSVPs (all the small expenses cut add up).

Hi! I’m January 26, 2019 so not too far before you! We have venue, DJ, caterer,
photographer, videographer, church booked, hotels booked, cake baker, and DOC! (No florist, using silk real feel flowers). I have my dress, bridal party picked and asked, one BM bought her dress already. Honeymoon is currently being booked, almost all decor bought, still need linens rented/bought. About to start our premarital course online. We bought my wedding band, FH is wearing his grandfathers wedding band. I have all of my attire like undergarments/veil/shoes bought. Save the dates are here and going out in March (10 months out, destination wedding.) invites are organized and picked out online in my cart. Just waiting for a good sale to buy them! We are mostly focusing on small details now! Getting married after Christmas, I’m tying to have everything 100% picked out and done by the time the holidays roll around so I can relax and enjoy them with family!

Mine is March 22, 2019! So excited! We have a venue book. We have also decided on a caterer, baker, DJ, photographer, and florist. I already have my dress and I am looking for someone to do alterations. I still have to pay deposits to everyone but I am getting all that money together.

Haha, I just felt like we had to start budgeting early since we're paying for the wedding on our own! I don't think you're behind just yet! A lot of the checklists I've seen online say you really should start around 9 months at the latest! But I do feel like the time is going to fly!

Awesome! I'll look into the Bridal Shows and see if that have something for us there too. I definitely wouldn't book blind if the catering isn't through the venue so I don't blame you! And I didn't realize that Wedding Wire helped with the websites too! We also are sending out a little over 200 invites so I was looking for ways to save on that, so I might have to really consider it. Thanks!!

You are super on top of things! That's great! I'm also going the no florist route! Where are you going to get your flowers from and where are you having your wedding? Also, is your honeymoon going to be in the same place as your wedding? I have so many questions! Hahaha

How exciting! I'm trying to hold out on getting a dress because I'm too scared I'll end up regretting getting it so early lol

Oh yay more March brides! Our big day is the 16th and I CANNOT wait! We have our venue booked and its a package deal so the only other vendor we have to book is photography which I want to secure by April. Bridal party is chosen, preliminary guest list is done. I feel like it’s too soon for everything else but time keeps going by so fast! Can’t wait to go dress shopping Smiley smile

Lol ask away! We live in FL and that’s where we are getting married but it’s out of state for my whole family. We are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon! I’ve already started working on the flowers and I’ve noticed the best ones are from afloral.com. Buy the real feel ones, they look and feel the most realistic!

Thank God for venues that have everything included! It makes planning a tad bit easier! My bridesmaids are all coming to visit me when it's time to go dress shopping so I think we'll go in the summer because that works best for everyone! I'm literally counting down the days! How did you ask your bridesmaids? Did you did you get them a present for the proposal or was it more so laid back? Lol

I just checked out afloral.com and I can't believe how affordable they are! I'm going to investigate and if there's something that will work for our wedding too. Which island are you going to for the honeymoon? We are having a hard time deciding on if we want to go to Maui, Oahu, or just go somewhere else completely lol. Hawaii is definitely expensive so if we decide to go there, we need to start figuring out stuff now so we know how much money we need

We are thinking Oahu and staying at Waikiki Beach! For January we are thinking we can get away with going for under $3,000 (expedia bundles have flights and hotels together for around $2100-$2400 plus food and excursions). We are going through a travel agent but we are planning on only spending a week there. FH is a first responder so he can't take too much time off.

That year is definitely going to come and go so fast! I don't think some people realize but there is SO much stuff that you have to do and consider for a wedding that it's so easy to get behind on this kind of stuff if you aren't on top of things lol
