Who is in charge of the wedding budget? You or your fiancé(e)??

Me. I'm usually in charge of finances because I'm a penny pincher lol he gives me the money and has me responsibily disperse the funds.

We are paying for the wedding 50-50 but I’m usually the one always on top of it and making sure we don’t go over budget.

Since his family is very wealthy, they offered to pay for everything even the honeymoon! He's in the Marines and a pediatrician as well so money's no object to us.

Kind of both. I know what money is going exactly where but he knows how much we are spending.

I am in charge of keeping track of everything because I am organized and super detail oriented but it’s a team effort deciding and HE definitely likes to spend more than me! Lol

I am. My degree is in event planning, so I know what will take more of the budget, what we can do without, etc.

I am. I ask his opinions and we discuss some things I know he has opinions on, but other than that, it's me.

We both are! He is the one who wants the big wedding. More so because his family is big!! So after we touched base about how much he felt it was going to coat and how much I knew it would we settled at a middle of the road budget between our answers. We are both trying hard to find venders and stuff that are quality but priced right because if we can come in under budget that's even better!

Definitely me. He's not that great with money.

He contributes more to our savings but I manage all the money. I have wrote all the checks for deposits, and I manage the finances for each vendor!

I'm an event planner for my job, so I've been tasked with a lot of the organization and figuring out what things are going to cost. Let's be real though, I love it! I'm also a fundraiser, so I'm sure I'll be the one who eventually asks our families for specific things--both have offered to help vaguely but we haven't had the real conversation yet of what they're comfortable with doing.
