Our friends are much more likely to RSVP on time. Our families are older people who are more likely to assume that we just know that we will know they're coming when we actually don't. Our friends are also much more excited to celebrate with us, so they are much more likely to RSVP much faster.

Probably my friends. We are inviting a lot more family though, who are coming from out of state and will need time to figure out logistics.

I would think our friends will be our first rsvps, even though 4 people in my family hand delivered them to us July 4th, but that's probably because we were already there for a cook out lol

Both! We sent invitations out during the last week of June. So far we've received 1/3 back.

Immediate family and my friends. Most of FH's friends were terrible, and some aunts and uncles were pretty hard to track down.

    Friends for sure!

However as we have limited space at our venue we are doing our invites a little different. We are sending our family invites out early with a specific RSVP date (most are out of town). Then once we have them all back we can then determine how many friend invites we can send. My mom thinks we will be fine with our guest count as most of the family wont come...we shall see.

My family, everyone knew about the engagement before it was even announced. There are no secrets in my family

It’s been a mix of both who are rsvping on time, we’ve been having to send reminders to both as well.

Honestly, I think family. They’ve all been so excited for it (not that our friends haven’t been) that they’ve been asking for the invitations since we got engaged January of 2018!

Friends because family thinks they can wait or you're supposed to assume you know they're coming.
