Who is using a Cricut Machine for their wedding?!

Rozenbook, on July 22, 2017 at 2:12 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 47

I am curious if there are other brides on here who are using a Cricut machine for things for their wedding. I am looking for ideas and this can be a thread to show off in progress or completed projects. You can even see if people can give their thoughts on what you have!

I recently received a Cricut Explore Air.

I have been using my cricut for quite a few projects for the wedding (and the shower and the bachelorette.) I have the Cricut Explore. If you need any help or ideas, I am happy to help.

I am using mine to make plenty of things. Signs, table numbers, reception cards, escort cards, thank yous, addressing envelopes, plus decorations. It can cut plenty of materials. It can cut chipboard to make table numbers. Just remember there is a fine line between saving money and it not worth it.

I borrowed mine from a friend and it was lifesaver in the last week before the wedding. I used mine for the stickers on the table numbers, the table chart, place cards, the card sign, the favor sign, pie pop flavors, and the photo wall sign. I would definitely recommend buying the pens and using it for calligraphy.

I have a silhouette cameo that I use all the time. It has mainly been used to make stencils since I like the painted look more than using vinyl. I'm going to attempt to make shirts for the bachelorette party, but I've never done that before so we will see how it goes

I have a silhouette cameo that I use for invitations. I'm still trying to figure out how to make the paper flower bouquet.

Constance, could you show us your paper flowers?? I would like to make myself a paper flower bouquet but I'm worried that it will take too much time to make them for my BM's

Here's one. Please excuse my dirty floor. Word to the wise. I've made tons of flowers before. For this project I did 12 ish flowers per table. I have 20 tables. I incorporated a lot of dried flowers as filler. It would have taken way longer if I made paper leaves too. FH has helped a lot. But it's sooo much work. You have lots of time so start early. All materials cost about $200. But I already had most of the things I needed for it (cricut, curling stylus, etc.).

Here's another one. It's worth mentioning that I didn't try to paint or stamp the flowers to make them look real. I wanted to embrace the papercraftiness of it. It would have taken a lot longer if I did.

Me! I just bought my Cricut Explore Air 2 last week, I'm learning and loving it! I'm using it for signs and bridesmaid props (not their actual presents). I'm also planning to make tshirts with it!

    Also, addressing envelopes!

I have used it to make my nieces their card boxes. The first is my avatar (wedding colors black, white, and green) and the second had navy blue as her main color.

So far I am making fan programs, menus, table #' s, and maybe invitation inner envelopes. The fans are a ready to make project that is free with the cricut access. I added some small personal touches and changed the sample names to the actual names.
