Who organizes, plans, and hosts the Bridal Shower

Anyone other than the bride and groom.

Usually the bridesmaids will host a shower. Sometimes extended family, close friends, or church members will throw the bride and groom a shower. You don’t ask for one and you don’t plan one if you’re the bride or groom!

I would say anyone beside the bride and groom!! I wouldn’t ask to have a bridal shower I would wait till someone offers.

Anyone but the bride ! My mother is throwing one in my home town and my MOH is hosting one in Nashville.

Hosting isn't the responsibility of anyone other than the person or people who willingly offer to host an event for you. Frequently bridesmaids will offer, or aunts, moms, other friends may offer as well. Showers aren't required events, they are something that is an extra if it is offered.

For one daughter 2 of her BM's are hosting and for my other daughter, the MOG, myself and one of the groom's aunts are planning it. Literally anyone who offers except the couple being married can host.

My cousin graciously offered to host one for me. It’s no ones job really whoever decides they would like to do that for you.

It depends I think. Sometimes the mothers want to host the bridal shower, sometimes the MOH does. I'm helping organize & plan mine a little, since I'm out of town for where it will be.
