Who pays for the bridesmaids dresses?

My bridesmaids pay for their own dresses but I did buy 2 of them and have yet to be paid back for them.

My bridesmaids are paying for their dresses...mainly because they are picking their own (i told them they just have to be in the gold family) so really they can pick out whatever they like and can afford. I am paying towards their hair/makeup though
