Who pays the bills?

We have a joint bank account and handle the bills together.

We split the cost of bills, but I keep track of them and make sure they get paid.

As of now, my boo does most of them. I'm a student and dont have a full time job, but i pitch in for food shopping and other things!

I deposit an agreed upon amount in our account....he takes care of everything from there

While I finish my law degree, he goes to work and pays the bills. When I finish school and get a job, he'll stop working and take care of our future kids. It's honestly the best system for us because I don't want to work while I'm in school but he doesn't want to work while he's a dad.

My fiance and I are both financially responsible. We each had our own checking and savings accounts prior to getting together and we have kept those since being together. Although we have added each other to our accounts, we still both split our bills down the middle. I get paid weekly and he gets paid bi-weekly, therefore on the weeks he is not getting paid we use the checking account where I am the primary more, as we do not want to dig into our savings. I keep up when bills are due and remind him of what's due but we split everything.

We both do right now as we don't live together.

I create our budget so whatever is needed he gives me. I pay the small things and build our savings, while he pays majority of the bills.

We split the responsibility of organizing the bills but he pays more at the moment.
