She asked me in one of my favorite places to visit which is Atlanta in the place I love the most Cheesecake Factory

He did...twice! Once in private with just us and then in front of family when I threw him a surprise birthday party!

He popped the question, and he did it in a way that was uniquely him. I wouldn't of had it any other way

It was him! 😍 He proposed on New Years Day at midnight.

My fiancé took me bowling and had a few good friends there to surprise me. We bowled for a while and then the girls started to get antsy so FINALLY, he asked me. ❤️

Well he technically did ask me. I used to work in jewelry and the general rule of thumb is the guy is supposed to propose after three years of dating. Well we were at year five or so and not engaged. Needless to say my fiancé is a butthead and needs to do things his way and on his timeline. Which is fine I don’t really care either way. I personally think it’s up to each individual couple not what society says. So he was under pressure from family and friends as too when he was going to propose. He was driving me to work and he was venting about the whole society puts pressure on men about proposing. He then blurted out he wants to propose in the worst way but he wants it to be on his terms. I was very quiet and shocked. I hadn’t realized he was planning on actually doing it. So I innocently tried to ask if he would feel better if I just referred to him as my fiancé so people would get off his back. He was angry at my suggestion so then he said f*** it do you want to get married to me. I said yes so then he replied there we are engaged now change the subject. Well, neither of us really felt “engaged” but a year later my gram found her old engagement ring and gave it to us. Obviously, it went right on my finger and hasn’t left since. Ryan my fiancé was like so wait...we bought a house and we have a ring. Are we engaged? I told him it was up to him and that he may want to figure that out soon since I’m wearing the ring regardless Lol. We went out to dinner with the man I consider to be my “dad” and his wife. We were talking and she suddenly noticed my ring. Then my dad looked at Ryan and said are you marrying my daughter and Ryan said he was. Then my dad was like when were you going to tell me and I just said something like apparently it’s news to me too. We all laughed then Ryan and I suddenly blurted out simultaneously wait.....we are really engaged....this is going to happen. It didn’t really occur to us what we had told them at first lol.

We both knew we would be getting married very early in the relationship, but he actually asked!

My fiancé did. It’s so crazy because we were planning a trip to the beach with his and my parents. I suggested he propose on the vacation ( bc I had been hinting for months lol)Funny thing is he did & I still had no idea that he would. Complete surprise.

Edward popped the question. He slipped my ring on my hand while I was asleep and once I awoke he was there asking me to marry him. It definitely surprised me.
