He's the one who proposed. I knew that he would want to be the one to do it, but he also knew that I was likely to ask him myself. I was going to give him until Valentine's day of 2018 to propose before I started making plans to do it myself, but he did it on our three year anniversary in November of 2017. I couldn't imagine a more perfect way for him to have done so.
