Who rides in the limo?

Brielle, on June 14, 2017 at 6:56 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

Hi guys, I'm on a planning frenzy since I'm home with an injury and got to thinking- yes, we'll be getting limos, but who rides in them? I was under the impression just the parties, and then my mom mentioned parents get their own limo. I'm not sure if my BMs and his GMs can all fit in one limo, so now we're looking at a few (3, maybe?)

What does everyone else plan to do/did at their wedding?

Thanks!

Is it common not to ride in the limo with your new husband? I wouldn't want to leave him!

This is to the wedding. FH didn't want to do a first look and we are getting ready in separate locations. After the ceremony the sedan will be for us to take pictures and go to the reception

We're just doing a party bus- much easier and accommodates 26 people

I'm getting 2 limos and a sedan. My self, 6 bridesmaids, little bride ( little cousin) and possibly my mom in one, my FH and six groomsmen in the other. My younger brother will drive the sedan to the church and afterwards, FH and I can take the sedan for ourselves

We're using one limo because our ceremony and reception venues are only 3 blocks apart and our reception venue is a hotel. So the limo will make 3 trips...one round bringing the GM, FH and his parents to the church. Round 2 brings the BMs and my mother to the church. Round 3 brings me and my father to the church. After the wedding only me and FH will be riding back in the limo. We have arranged rides for wedding party members and parents back to the hotel.

We will only have one limo. The boys can drive themselves to the church and then we can all pile on after the ceremony - but we have access to limo buses that will fit up to 40 people (no we will not have 40 people on it). So really it will be big enough not to need 3 different cars

I have no idea. In my social circle we either use shuttles from a room block hotel, or have the ceremony/reception at a hotel. I haven't seen a limo used since 2010 - outside of our region.

We are car pooling and taking Ubers at the end of the night. Our ceremony and reception are at one place.

Limo will be picking me up to take me to the ceremony, then afterwards itll be fh and I along with 8 other people. We have no bm or gm so we'll just invite 4 people each

We were originally not going to have a limo at all, but H splurged the week of the wedding so we could ride together. It was us and most of the bridal party. My sisters didn't ride with us, one because she's super pregnant and getting in and out of it was actually a little rough, and my other because she and my BIL have two little kids so they took their car for the car seats. Our parents drove themselves separately.
