We are having a smallish wedding. We have about 118 guests on the list, but if 30% don't show, it will be more like 85 people. We look at it as a hell of a party interrupted by a wedding!

I've honestly thought about it but what most people refer to as "eloping" isn't actually eloping. Most people say it and more so are referring to a destination wedding, not truly running away and getting married secretly.

That's true, the definition and idea of it has definitely evolved, depending on the situation! I never thought of it that way
