Who said it? - "My wedding, oops I mean our wedding"

Me, unfortunately.

I've said it a few times to my mother or someone else really close when I was frustrated with planning and I always corrected myself when I realized I sounded selfish.

When talking to FH I have always called it our wedding, even stressed out.

I made the mistake of saying that to my FH yesterday, and he quickly corrected me. Whoops!

FH says it all the time when he talks to other people, but to me it's our wedding.

I've said it but usually to my friends. They don't care. LOL

I think it's a habit to do this with anything that involves two people!! Weddings and babies especially lol!

I’ve slipped up once or twice. Not in front of FH. But when we disagree on a wedding detail we’ll tease each claiming it’s ‘my wedding’ and we’re getting our own way.

First time I said my wedding, I got an eye. Afterward it was just yes honey it's your wedding, whatever 🤣🤣🤣

Me unfortunally. I have been planning most of it on my own while he has been deployed over seas.

Sadly me, he always refers to it as our wedding and I'm working on it! When I've put so much energy into all of the DIY's which are my projects it's unfortunately easy to call it my wedding!

I say my wedding all the time. He doesn't care. He knows I am the one doing all the vendor paperwork, I am the one DIYing everything I am the one with a notebook with organized payments and blah blah so he lets me do my thing lol he told me to just tell him when to show up! He's so easy going. THANK GOODNESS.

I say my wedding to other people, but that's cause it sounds weird to say "our" if hes not there. If hes present I say our. But to each other, when I ask for his advice he says "whatever you want" to most things so I tell him its "our wedding"

My fiancé saw my count down that says “Skylar’s Wedding” and he was joking around and said “Oh, just your wedding? Not ours?” 😂 I changed it to Murphy’s Wedding. I normally just refer it to “The” wedding, rather than mine or ours. Lol

I do it allllll the time. And when FH corrects me my response is if it’s ours it’s half mine so I can call it mine and he usually just giggles with me.

I actually get corrected to the opposite. I'll say "our" wedding and FH will say it's my wedding! It's as a joke, but he really don't have any input so it's funny for us lol

We both are good by saying "The wedding" Or someone FH will say "your day".

All the time! lol. He hasn't helped with much planning at all (which, really, for us, totally works! I prefer it that way)
