Who was the first person you shared the engagement news with?

I shared my news with my 16 year old son. Then we told my mom, my dad and my pop pop. On Christmas we told the rest to of the family.

My mom was the first for sure! Couldn't wait to tell her!

We called my mother via Facebook video chat. She was so convinced he was the one she had to know 😊

My mom! I was literally in the car ecstatic and staring at the phone until I had enough service to call her! My FH has called her to ask her permission so she already knew and she hadn’t said anything...although she did keep texting me asking how the weekend was going...

The first person we told was my best friend that now lives an hour away. We video chatted her because I was just so excited and couldn’t wait to tell her in person!

My brother and his girlfriend because they were there when it happened but my dad and my sisters were the next to know as well as my bff.

I FaceTimed my parents, they were anxiously waiting as they knew it was happening. Then my sister and my BFF, THEN he was allowed to post it on Facebook. We called his mom a few hours later (it was NYE and we were on vacation so he didn’t want to call until after midnight)

I didn't really have to share too much. All my family and friends were there when he did it.

Well my best friend and maid of honor was hiding in the bushes taking pictures and video taping so she was the first official person to know. but we immediately called our parents to tell them and our siblings.

The first person we called was my mom. She was so shocked and had no idea it was coming, so it was a nice surprise.

It was actually his co-workers. We were in Chicago (my favorite city) for his companies Christmas party.

My mom, I called her the next day. Then I my kids that FH was officially going to be their stepdad. They were super excited to have a complete family.
