Who was the first person you shared the engagement news with?

I wrote to my family especially to my sister first thing & sent the pics! 💍While I did that, my FH posted on fb that it's official & to his family viber!

I told my mom first and he told his "adoptive" mom.

My mom was the first person to know. Because we where on our first cruise together when he asked.

My work friend, Taylor! She doesn't know any of my family or close friends, so I did not have to worry about her leaking the news to anyone else and feelings getting hurt!

I guess everyone all at once I posted it on social media for everyone family member to know of course the people that don’t have I told my self! Best experience ever it was so romantic!

I tried to call my mom first but she didn't answer the phone! (As usual lol). So I called my best friend and told her!

My mom was the first person I told 💞 I had been talking to her about it beforehand because I suspected it was going to happen. So I had to call her and tell her right after he proposed 💞💞

I called 95 year old grandmother and texted a picture of us and the ring to her IPad! (Yes, she’s up to date with technology! )

I didn't have the change to "share" the news. He had secretly recorded the entire thing and shared it on Facebook before I could even ask him not to.

I got engaged about two years ago and my wedding date is next year. As I can recall the very first person I told about my engagement was my little sister and then my parents and then my fiance's parents and siblings.

My finance told his dad and asked my parents permission. He proposed at our maternity photo shoot for our triplets and it was all caught on camera!!! I immediately called my mom and dad and sister!

Other than his family who was there when he proposed. I told my mom first. 😊

My FH asked me while we were staying at a beautiful cabin in the woods. I told him that I really wanted to keep it just our secret for the weekend. However, we went to breakfast at a local diner and I texted my sister asking her if she could keep a secret....then I sent her this picture. She called me back screaming and crying. I swore her to secrecy.
