Who was the first person you told about your engagement?

I don't remember, lol. There was a lot of excitement, even though I was the one that proposed.

I never saved anything to Pinterest as I stayed off Pinterest during wedding planning, lol. Looked at stuff for special education teaching though!!!

I called my mom right after. She was not at all surprised.

My parents. They already knew because FH told them he was going to propose. He actually wasn't able to do it the day he told them he was going to do it (bad weather and he rented a hot air balloon to propose), so at first they were freaking out thinking I had said no haha!

Technically? The innkeeper and the other couple at the B&B where we were staying for the weekend...LOL! He proposed on Saturday morning, and we were staying till Sunday, and I kind of just wanted it to be between us for the day before we let the world into our little bubble. But Saturday afternoon we were having tea in the B&B and the other couple asked what we did that day. We were like, umm, well, we got engaged...and you're the first to know! Innkeeper came in, we had a toast, it was sweet.

When we went home Sunday, we stopped by his family first because mine was out till later (no one knew it was coming). Facebook Monday night after we were able to tell work friends and a couple of others individually.

We called our parents first!

My MOH, she was in on it and had sent me on an errand for her so he could set it up at our house. I told her and yelled at her because she had been planning it with him for months and was WAYY to good of a liar to me about it!

I don’t remember calling anyone. We posted it on Facebook & texted my Dad. FMIL found out on Facebook, lol, FH didn’t want to call them.

My best friend who has known us since high school. We got engaged before Thanksgivng but had to keep it a secret til New Years since we didn't want to make the holidays all about us. We each told one person, then called our families NYD and told them that in nine months we were expecting... a wedding 😂😂😂
