Who was the first person you told about your engagement?

Were they the only two people who knew about the proposal or did others know too?!

It was a total surprise. We had a "mutual understanding" that we were eventually going to get married, but we hadn't taken that any further yet, and he knew that I'm old-fashioned in that sense, so the ball was in his court. He kept talking about, leading up the trip, how he definitely wanted us to marry in the future, but that we should wait a while, since neither of us wanted a long engagement. Totally fell for it, and I'm not disappointed one bit. I usually see right through surprises, and he's the only one who can manage to surprise me.

My Best friend was the first to know. I waited until it was a somewhat decent time to call and I blew up her phone! It was like 2 am when he proposed though, to be fair. Second person was my mom.

Zach was too excited and almost everyone knew. That truly was a bummer. He did take that away from me. I did not get to call people to gush and be all excited because they already knew. We were on vacation with my brother, sister in law, my niece and nephew... which did capture the whole thing. He called his family and that is the first group of people we told. While on vacation i kept it hush hush. I'm trying to rack my brain on who I actually told. I do remember someone knew, but they were waiting for me to say something, but I can not recall. I do remember my most memorable thing was when my co worker put she said yes literally everywhere in my office. I found them for days. Lol

We called my mom and step-dad first! Then his parents and my dad.
