Who was present at your proposal (other than you and your partner)? Did you get engaged in front of family/friends? Or in front of people you don't know, such as at a restaurant or theme park? Or was your proposal totally private with just you and your partner?

    Haha, I love that your cat was the witness to the proposal! I agree with you, I don't like being the center of attention. My husband proposed with a few (maybe like 2-4?) random strangers around, but they took photos from a distance and didn't make it a big scene, so I didn't mind. I definitely would not have wanted a proposal in front of family or friends, so if someone had to be present, a couple quiet strangers was fine with me. Very cool that your partner made sure to respect your wishes!
