I think If someone is paying for a 20,000 dollar wedding they would have some say.

That's a specific number, is that how much your wedding cost? Also, they should have a say on what exactly?

It could be 10,000, 50,000 whatever. The point is when a person is paying I feel they should have some say- you want examples okay:

Venue choices -is travel involved? If parents/grandparents are paying are they healthy and able to travel and can afford it?

Food-everyone has to eat it- if Dad is allergic to seafood- can they have chicken instead?

photographer: oops $5,000, not enough $ in budget for choice A, would the $3500 for B or C be ok?

Guest lists: So whoever is paying gets some say so in guests lists?

Music: such a personal choice, but I probably would want a few favorite songs played.

Those are probably the biggies right? If the daughter wants vanilla cake vs chocolate- who cares,

If the daughter wants greenery and no flowers who cares.......
