Whoops! i Forgot About My Hair!

Potato, on September 18, 2019 at 12:57 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 6

So in classic Me form, I waited too long to make an appointment to get my hair done for the big day! Now, it's not the END of the world for me becuase booking a coloring appointment was more important than the stiyling (updos are temporary, color lasts longer!)... time just flew by becuase I was so busy!

I'm considering just heading to Great Clips or Supercuts since its so close to the wedding (only 6 weeks!). I'm not super concerned about the price, I just don't want to feel RUSHED.

Did anyone or is anyone going to one of these 2 places for thier hair? Is it an okay "last minute" idea? They have hair stylists, they're just not at salon prices

I’m just going to my regular hair stylist. I booked my hair in advance because I want my awesome stylist to just give me gorgeous curls like she always does, but I dropped the ball on makeup! I didn’t book it until a few days ago, luckily it’s at the same place but they had to ask the makeup artist if she can come in because she’s usually off that day. Lucked out for sure!
I don’t know if I’d go to Great Clips since the ones around here used to botch my hair but most salons can accomodations a simple updo or curl iron style last minute, no sweat! 6 weeks is plenty time to find one.

I stopped going after I asked for 1/8th of an inch trimmed because I was growing my hair and they took off 2 inches, also made my bangs uneven and completely butchered. Now I’ve got stylist loyalty at a cute little salon & spa. I don’t know if I’d trust those places with a style unless I could do an unofficial trial first and have the same stylist for the wedding. They’re easy hairstyles but they couldn’t even do a trim. It would just make me nervous.
Read reviews online and see what the best salons in your town are like, doesn’t have to be a wedding stylist at all.

If they have good reviews for a specific stylist, I guess it's okay to try! You could also go to Ulta or Sephora or a local beauty college.
