Who's a better gift giver?

That's hard.

He very rarely surprises me, but when he DOES... it's good. (Though I figured out the proposal last year. Still GOOD, though.)

I'm pretty good at surprising him.

We are very upfront about what we want, so gift giving is easier.

This year, all our gifts are wedding picture related, so no surprises.

We are both in our ways. He's great at listening through the year and truly surprising me! I'm more of the maker of gifts or the creative giver. But he can be too which can be even more surprising! He's made me scrapbooks over the years and I've handcrafted our lake map into a light up wooden shadowbox. This year we talked about not doing gifts and upgrading our pots and pans (so adventurous I know) so I did the 12 days before Christmas gift countdown - which he has loved!

He usually spends more but mine are more personal and thoughtful. Although I'm not a huge jewelry fan and he has not surprised me with anything I don't like yet!

Not for her lack of thoughtful, meaningful gifts, but I am better at gift giving because my wife can't keep a secret to save her life!!! Seriously, I already know what most of my gifts are, and did before she put a thing under the tree. My problem is she'll mention she likes or wants something one time and I spend hours or weeks searching for it only to find out she wasn't as excited about the gift as I thought. She likes it enough, but it wasn't the big thing I thought she would be beyond excited to get. At least until this year. I'm pretty sure I got the one gift that will have her jumping to put it together and use it. *Fingers crossed*

About even I think.

Me. He makes me pick out everyone's gifts. The only one he picked this year was a 3D puzzle for his sister.

Usually its me lol get gets me these cute trinket things every year but not what i ask for this year he surprised me with tickets to watch my favorite hockey team! so he won this year for sure

We always tell the other what we want (since we both have a tendency to just buy what we want). I picked out a handbag this year and he picked out a nice jacket.

Likely me. I'm usually able to pick gifts that people will like and are practical!

Last year, it was him. He got me a Peloton-- and every time he tries to use it, I want to punch him in the eye!! MINE! LOL

My gifts are usually better always. LOL

I would say that I am, for sure.

At the beginning of our relationship it was me, but there was a huge improvement on the other side since then ;-)
